WHO WE ARE
The Rondebosch Community Improvement District’s (RCID) purpose is to govern safety initiatives in its demarcated area, working in close partnership with FADT and SAPS.
In the spirit of community, non-FADT clients are welcome to participate in all community-related initiatives in the RCID.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
CAMERAS
The RCID camera project has been a highly successful layer in the fight against crime. As a result of the contribution of residents to the Camera Project initiated in 2012, the cameras and servers are funded and owned by the RCID.
PARTNERSHIPS
The generally low crime statistics in the RCID are a testament to the successful partnership between RCID, Fidelity ADT, Rondebosch SAPS and Octotel.
FIDELITY ADT
Residents contracted with Fidelity ADT (the current service provider in partnership with the RCID) are automatically RCID members and enjoy the full benefits provided by this partnership.
COMMUNITY
In the spirit of community, we invite all residents to participate in all the community-organized events organized by the RCID.
